Georgia State University has one of the most uniquely diverse student populations in the country and sees an opportunity to create a digital pipeline that allows for more diversity and inclusion in technology and innovation. Through a variety of student initiatives, Georgia State’s Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education (CETLOE) created digital literacy programs that expose students to emerging technologies, connect them to industry leaders, and empower them to use technology to impact their communities. Presenters will share how to implement experiential/project-based programs that increase underrepresented students' digital literacy, leadership, and professional skills.
