Functional Biometry in Higher Education: Creating Learning Environments

Thursday, November 14, 2024 | 11:00AM–11:45AM ET
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Virtual Poster Session
The implementation of functional biometry labs in higher education can take learning to a new level by allowing students to observe, manipulate, and experiment with physiological variables related to cognition and behavior, which are also key elements in Learning Science. These spaces enhance the learning experience of students seeking knowledge about cognitive processes, behavior, physiology, and the integration of these elements. Likewise, teachers and researchers who aim to develop academic innovations, or to research the link between physiology and learning, can use this technology to back their findings by applying a proper methodology and measuring their results.
