Advancing AI Literacy and Cross-Campus Collaboration Using the C.A.P.E.R.S. Prompting Framework

This session explores a successful model for advancing AI literacy among HBCU faculty through strategic cross-campus collaboration. Fort Valley State University’s Center for Teaching and Learning has partnered with Georgia Tech’s Professor Lesley Baradel to implement a practical AI education prompting model called C.A.P.E.R.S. This collaboration has been instrumental in building faculty confidence in using AI technologies, providing access to specialized expertise and resources, and fostering a supportive community for exploring AI applications in teaching. Participants will learn how the C.A.P.E.R.S. Education Prompting Framework can be adapted across diverse institutional contexts to enhance AI literacy and content creation initiatives.
