This session will highlight McMaster University's successful journey toward integrating automation and AI technologies. We'll share our comprehensive approach to automation and AI integration. This includes the rollout of automation and low-code development tools from the Power Platform that have empowered our community to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and foster innovation with minimal coding effort. Key highlights of our journey include Exploration and Community Building: We began with thorough exploration and community-building initiatives, engaging faculty, researchers, staff, and students in collaborative discover-and-learn experiences. These efforts laid a strong foundation for widespread adoption and support. Learning Together: Leveraging the Power Up Program and putting in place a comprehensive human-centered support system, we accelerated learning and adoption of these technologies. Group learning sessions and one-on-one consultations were offered to McMaster M365 users, ensuring they mastered the capabilities of the Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot. Student Support: Over the summer, we harnessed the enthusiasm and skills of our students to support these initiatives. Their contributions were invaluable in driving the adoption and integration of these tools across campus.
