Since 2022, The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) has pioneered immersive learning by integrating extended reality (XR) technologies into a growing number of courses across disciplines. Through XRperiences @ UTSA, a university-wide initiative, we continue to expand the transformative use of XR—from early pilots using Metaverse VR to the implementation of OvationVR for developing soft skills in business labor relations. Join us as we present our journey, insights, and future directions as we deepen XR’s role in teaching, learning, and student engagement.
