From Outcomes to Evidence: Turning LMS Data into Program Review and Accreditation

Wednesday, October 14, 2026 | 11:15AM–11:55AM ET
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Live Session
Many academic programs and assessment leaders in higher education collect data but struggle to turn it into usable evidence for program review and accreditation. This session shows how leveraging LMS outcomes, rubrics, and analytics can make student learning visible and support evidence-informed decision-making while reducing the burden of documentation. Participants will explore a practical, repeatable approach for aligning program outcomes with assignments and LMS tools so that evidence flows directly from course activities into accreditation and program review processes. Drawing on a recent implementation, we will share a mapping template, configuration checklist, and sample dashboards that help programs generate and use results effectively. Through examples and a guided activity, attendees will begin applying this approach to their own programs. They will leave with concrete tools and a scalable strategy for using LMS data to support program improvement, strengthen accreditation reporting, and inform decisions.
