An Online, Interactive Approach to Copyright and Intellectual Property Law Education

This presentation describes the development, use, and collaborative evaluation of the University of Minnesota Libraries' Fair Use Analysis tool. This interactive, online application is intended to educate the university community about, and foster compliance with, copyright and intellectual property law. Initial results indicate that using the tool improves both understanding of and reasoning about copyright law.
