Preparing for E-Discovery and Requests for Electronically Stored Information

Colleges and universities are reviewing their practices related to electronically stored information in light of recent changes to the federal civil discovery rules. This session will describe the potential impact of e-discovery, discuss policy issues associated with records management and data retention, and offer guidelines for working with law enforcement and responding to compulsory legal requests for information.
