Usability in Higher Education IT: A Moral Mandate and an Attainable Goal

Tuesday, March 13, 2007 | 12:45PM–1:30PM | King Arthur's Court/Third Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
People are more important than technology. Thus, user-focused design is an indispensable expression of our commitment to the humanistic mission of higher education. This session will discuss how usability is not a set of methods but rather a mindset, as well as how user input can be obtained inexpensively, without a full-scale usability lab.
