A Data-Mining Approach to Differentiate Predictors of Retention Between Online and Traditional Students

Wednesday, February 21, 2007 | 11:30PM–11:30PM
Session Type: Resources
The objective of this project is to identify predictors of college retention in different populations. In all populations, background variables prior to admission can successfully predict freshmen retention. In subsequent years, however, these variables do not seem to play an important role in retention.
