Legacy and VoIP Telephone Integration Using Open Source

Friday, February 23, 2007 | 10:45AM–11:30AM | Lonestar Room - 2nd Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
We have implemented a bridge between an Avaya PBX and a Cisco VoIP system using Asterisk, an open source PBX. This system provides a uniform dial-by-name and autoattendant across multiple campus locations. The system obtains assigned extensions from Active Directory and creates a Web and Excel user telephone directory.
