Constructing a Framework for IT Project Management: Our True Story

Wednesday, January 07 | 4:45PM–5:30PM | Congress Room B/C (fourth floor)
Session Type: Professional Development
The construction and implementation of a formal IT project management framework is quite a challenge. The ITU Project Management Office at George Mason has assembled a workable framework and built a technical infrastructure to support it. The staff of the PMO will tell "the behind the scenes" story of how it was created and how it is being used. Examples of real projects, in various phases, will be displayed as they currently appear in the online system. The challenges and the successes will be highlighted.

Presenters

  • Derek Kan

Senior IT Project Manager, George Mason University
