The session will provide an overview of the deployment of IPv6 (the next-generation Internet Protocol) at Penn. A brief review of IPv6 basics will be followed by a discussion of how Penn got started with its deployment, the current state of deployment in terms of both IPv6 infrastructure and IPv6-enabled applications, and future work and challenges.
