To ensure that institutional systems are secure and meet payment card industry requirements, managers must perform regular risk tests on various systems across campus. When we lost our security engineering expertise, we had to decide how best to meet these requirements: outsource or do it in-house. This presentation will describe Towson University's decision-making process and the pros and cons of each alternative we considered.
