Applying Lincoln's Leadership Principles to IT

Leading and managing in troubled times is a major issue today with looming budget cuts and our current economic climate. Lincoln's leadership style is relevant today and has been the subject of many books illustrating the timelessness of his leadership principles. This session will give an overview of how Lincoln applied his principles during his presidency and discuss how they can be directly applied to IT to manage and lead people. The development of an online blog on these principles will also be demonstrated with audience participation solicited.
