Gone Phishing at Wayne State University: Protecting Your Inbox with Zimbra

Tuesday, March 16 | 11:45AM–12:30PM | Valencia/First Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Wayne State University has successfully minimized risks associated with phishing attacks by integrating the Zimbra ZCS anti-phishing Zimlet and other techniques with its existing technology to increase security across all platforms. The resulting knowledge can be of benefit to all institutions. WSU is interested in sharing these experiences, including warning signs of phishing attacks, how similar programs can be duplicated, and steps to remain vigilant against phishing after initial implementation. As the use of social media in academic institutions and phishing attempts to pervade these new channels proliferate, anti-phishing initiatives will continue to remain invaluable to institutions.
