Educational Virtual Environment Methodologies

By providing faculty theoretical frameworks using Bloom's taxonomy, experiential learning, transformational learning, reflective learning, and social learning/inclusion methodologies applied to using Second Life as part of the overall learning environment, the Metropolitan State College of Denver was able to launch Roadrunner Island in Second Life. The results of the workshop professional development, the use of the virtual education environment, and the diverse faculty population will be discussed in this interactive presentation, which will include face-to-face and Second Life participation.
