Communication between IT groups and individuals is critical to the success of the organization as a whole. Likewise, IT divisions will fail in their mission to support teaching, learning, and research goals if they falter in communicating IT messages to the campus community. In the past year, Rice University's IT division has created, borrowed, and customized a variety of tools to achieve information-sharing results across the division as well as with customers. This interactive discussion will cover a wide range of communication tools, demonstrating how any organization can "use what it has" to create and improve IT communication channels.
