The Faculty Innovation Center (FIC) supports instructional innovation by providing faculty and media development services to engineering faculty at the UT Austin. By integrating the science of learning with practical approaches, the FIC creates robust media instructional resources for a technical audience. In this talk, we will discuss what we have learned about engineering-faculty characteristics and describe what we have found works when it comes to developing instructional technology resources for engineering education. We will share some of the insights we've learned from working with these professors as well as our hard-earned lessons.
