Wednesday, February 17 | 4:45PM–5:30PM | Capitol View Terrace
Session Type: Professional Development
This session will provide research to support a link between the maturity level of college students and their use of a mobile learning device (iPhone/iPod touch). More specifically, the research demonstrates the differences in mobile device usage between less mature and more mature students in the areas of interaction with professors, classmates, and parents. The session will include a discussion on the appropriate use of mobile devices in a learning environment, including the benefits and hazards of such initiatives.
