Personalized Assessment: Creating a Culture of Evidence One Student at a Time

Thursday, February 18 | 11:45AM–12:30PM | Capitol View Terrace
Session Type: Professional Development
To promote student engagement in learning across a wide spectrum of programs, Jones International University designed web-based strategies to assess individual student learning against learning objectives within and across courses. JIU compiles personalized feedback data and merges them to yield cumulative progress reports for individuals over time and as compared to peers. These aggregate data create a culture of evidence that also permits regular evaluation and improvement of teaching, courses, and programs.
