E-Text and Accessibility: What We Need to Know

Tuesday, March 15, 2011 | 4:30PM–6:30PM | Seville West/First Floor
Session Type: Professional Development
Thinking about e-text on campus? If so, attend this important workshop to get a handle on what you need to consider to ensure new technologies are accessible to all. We will largely focus on lessons learned and practical steps that you take to avoid embarrassment or litigation, or both. We'll address questions such as: Who are the stakeholders? What is the evaluation process? How do you test for usability on multiple platforms? Will all embedded media be accessible? What is the lifespan you need to be considering? How do you follow-up after decisions are made? Join us as we walk through these important considerations.
