Based on positive experience using Mediasite classroom capturing technology in executive-style MBA classes, Texas Tech's Rawls College of Business expanded the use of Mediasite (in combination with other technologies) to selected undergraduate and graduate courses. This session will focus on a "mixed-format" classroom environment, where undergraduate students can self-select in-seat versus online class participation. We will discuss the pros and cons of our experience, as well as the potential benefits and limitations of mixed-format classes.
