A System for the Remote Observation of Student Teachers

This presentation will demonstrate the effectiveness of a computer video and audio system for the remote observation of student teachers. The presenter will discuss the results of a study of the effectiveness of this system. Participants will watch a live demonstration of the use of the system. The presenter will discuss the system in detail, including all of the components. He will also discuss various technology alternatives for the remote observation system to address schools with low levels of technology, incompatible hardware and software, poor technology support, and security concerns.
