This special "Experience IT" session is designed to offer a hands-on, highly interactive introduction to an emerging tool and explore its potential impact for professional development and the classroom. Please bring a laptop or mobile device to the session to ensure you can engage with the presenter. Seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
This presentation will introduce the audience to the concept of augmented reality. Augmented reality is a process by which digital environments are overlaid on real-world spaces, combining real and virtual images into one 3-D display. The session will explore the implications of augmented reality for educators, administrators, and students and the latest AR learning tools available now and on the immediate horizon.
