Green Squared: Curbing Copying and Printing Gone Amuck

Friday, January 14, 2011 | 10:30AM–11:15AM | Harborside Ballroom D
Session Type: Professional Development
Is printing and copying running amuck on your campus? Millersville University is meeting our printing and copying challenges with the Green Squared Initiative. This initiative is centrally funded, and departments are able to reallocate their printer consumable printing costs to other operating needs. We are replacing copiers that were older than five years and migrating printing from laser and inkjet printers to new multifunction devices which meets a number of objectives including print and copy cost savings as well as energy savings and reduction of carbon footprint. Thus Green Squared.
