Session Type:
Professional Development
Moving compliance from a reactive approach to a proactive approach does not occur overnight. It is a journey with many opportunities for failure or success. Compliance can be obtained proactively by implementing effective risk management controls and strategies. A solid strategy needs to be developed to identify, mitigate, and monitor risks in order to facilitate the need for compliance within higher education institutions. This session will review the "what, where, and why" and highlight lessons learned from integrating compliance requirements into the daily operations of higher education.
