Collaborative Leadership

Thursday, February 23, 2012 | 4:30PM–6:00PM | Broadway I/II, Plaza Level
Session Type: Professional Development
The concept of collaborative leadership has great practical implications for individuals engaged in information technology projects at institutions of higher education. Technology projects often cross multiple departments without clear lines of authority; require managing large teams undertaking complex tasks; and are performed under conditions that are often stressful. This workshop will provide an opportunity to assess participants' leadership styles, to gain insight into personal readiness for collaborative leadership situations, and to practice critical skills such as facilitation.
