Accessibility considerations for technology on (and off) campus often take a backseat to sexier, higher-impact IT projects. At Penn State, we were forced to take a systemic look at our campus accessibility when the National Federation for the Blind challenged our ability to provide equal access for everyone. What issues were identified by the NFB? How did the university and IT approach the challenge? What opportunities emerged and what lessons were learned? Bring your experiences to this important dialogue. We'll construct a list of best practices for task forces to explore and strategize creating fully accessible IT resources on campuses.
