Wednesday, January 11 | 4:45PM–5:30PM | Harborside Ballroom E
Session Type: Professional Development
The Division of Information Technology (IT), in conjunction with the Finance Department at The George Washington University (GW), has formalized its project management methodologies into one methodology that can be used to manage all projects throughout the university. The Project Management Lifecycle (or PMLC) was formalized in 2010. This presentation will speak toward the approach we took in rolling out this process, provide an overview of the training that was provided to Division of IT and Finance staff, review the different phases of the lifecycle, and share the templates that were created as well as the lessons learned after using the process for one year.
