Lose the Bullets: Effective Presentation Design

Thursday, January 12 | 9:30AM–10:15AM | Harborside Ballroom E
Session Type: Professional Development
The majority of presentations are poorly designed. While presentation tools are commonplace, knowledge of how to effectively use them is not. Aside from the lucky few who have a background in the creative arts, rarely do college courses cover design concepts or graphic fundamentals. Without this background it is easy to let available software and functions lead one down the wrong path toward ineffective communication of ideas and thoughts. This session will cover working with images and text following effective graphic design principles. Come with an open mind, and your presentations will never be the same!
