Virtual Worlds Constituent Group

Wednesday, January 11, 2012 | 12:30PM–1:30PM | Harborside Ballroom A
Session Type: Professional Development
Many instructors and institutions have embraced the idea of using virtual worlds, such as Second Life, as a teaching tool and learning platform. Now that we're past the initial hype, a deeper conversation can take place about the growing variety of platforms available for and issues with working with this new technology. This group, which meets at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference and at EDUCAUSE regional conferences, uses an electronic mailing list to discuss issues throughout the year. This discussion session is open to all conference attendees.
