Ensuring Adjunct Faculty Are in the Boat

Training adjunct faculty on new software, systems, and hardware can be a challenge. Our institution mandated that each adjunct faculty member attend an 8-hour training session encompassing our student information system, course management system, e-mail system, and classroom technology. This workshop also covers the basics of instructional design, admissions and registration, and copyright laws. We'll share the outlines and handouts of our 8-hour workshop, which is broken into four 2-hour segments. Employers may choose which sections will most benefit their adjunct faculty.
