Online Library Orientations? Why Not?

Thursday, May 31 | 2:30PM–3:30PM | Grand Ballroom Foyer
Session Type: Professional Development
To provide equitable access to distance learning students, HCC librarians provide online research orientations available to distance learning classes and for individual access through two methods. Live online orientations are delivered through Adobe Connect Pro and can be recorded and linked for later access. The alternative method is a canned orientation provided in short segments and recorded using Camtasia Studio. These segments, focusing on various online research tools, are incorporated into a LibGuide (online research guide), which is available through the HCC Libraries website.
