Learning Experience

The Learning Lab experience is supported by both asynchronous and synchronous components. Each Learning Lab sequence includes a set of resources, an asynchronous discussion, and an interactive live session, all of which culminate in the development of a project or application to apply learning to local and specific contexts in support of the learning objectives.

Learning Lab Launch

Sequence 1: Theory and Concepts: Overview of the Culture, Workforce, and Technology Shifts Inherent to Dx

September 15, 2021, 3:00–4:15 p.m. ET

Digital transformation is the future of higher education. But the future doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of a process, one that requires strong leadership and a commitment to institutional change to be successful. In this learning sequence, you’ll explore the key elements of leading a Dx initiative and begin to develop strategies for communicating about Dx with other campus leaders.

Sequence 2: Practical Application: Designing a Dx Strategy for Your Context

A framework for developing a Dx strategy provides the pathway for you to address key elements such as the purpose of the Dx initiative; the changes that will be required in workforce, culture, and technology; and the value the initiative will add to the institution. In this learning sequence, you’ll be introduced to a framework that will guide you through the process for developing a Dx strategy and plan.

Application and Closure

September 29, 2021, 3:00–4:15 p.m. ET

The Learning Lab will conclude with an application or project activity.
