AI and the Student Experience: Leadership Applications and Measurable Impact— July 2026

A Collaboration with EAB

July 20, 22 and 27, 2026
Online

Event Description

As institutions build AI capacity, an urgent question remains: how are we using AI to directly improve the student experience and related outcomes, and where should decision-makers focus to drive meaningful impact for students?

From early engagement through completion, institutions are exploring how AI can reduce friction, support better decisions, and strengthen ongoing student support. But moving beyond experimentation requires more than new tools. It requires clear priorities, practical implementation, and evidence that these efforts are making a difference.

This Leadership Series focuses on how institutions are approaching AI in ways that meaningfully support the student experience across the life cycle. Through real-world examples and practical discussion, you’ll explore where AI is gaining traction, what’s proving effective, and how leaders are aligning these efforts with institutional strategy and operations.

You’ll leave better equipped to make informed decisions about where AI can have the greatest impact and how to move forward.

Learning Outcomes

  • Determine where AI can have the greatest impact on the student experience and related outcomes across the life cycle.
  • Evaluate AI initiatives using indicators that reflect meaningful improvements in the student experience and related outcomes.
  • Assess key considerations and tradeoffs when implementing and scaling AI-enabled student support.
  • Formulate governance, risk, and operational considerations in student-facing applications.
  • Develop a path to align AI efforts with institutional priorities and demonstrate measurable impact.

Learning alongside a cohort of higher education professionals and leaders, participants will synthesize insights, exchange strategies, and build lasting connections.
