Exploring the 2018 Horizon Report

EDUCAUSE acquired the NMC Horizon Project early in 2018 and plans to publish the 2018 Horizon Report in August. This webinar will explore that report. Intrinsic to the notion of a horizon is that of a broad perspective. So we'll be looking not just at the developments in educational technology but also examine the contextual trends and challenges and how the technologies can assist higher education to meet its many challenges and opportunities.

Outcomes

  • Get familiar with the contents and implications of the 2018 Horizon Report for higher education
  • Learn about projects at various institutions that illustrate the potential of the technologies identified in the report
  • Learn about supplemental resources that augment the report and can be used in your plans and direction setting
