The all-too-common problem of imposter syndrome can cause outwardly successful individuals to be riddled with self-doubt. In the fast-paced world of information security, it can be easy to second-guess your abilities and attribute success to sheer luck. The consequences for doing so are severe, hurting your ability to grow, collaborate, and experience enjoyment in your career. In this presentation, we will discuss the signs of imposter syndrome and its impact on IT and InfoSec, as well as some positive steps to help combat self-doubt.
