Online Lightning Round - Mobility with iPads Showcase: iPad Apps for Active and Engaged Learning

This session will provide a hands-on demonstration of iPad apps currently used by students and faculty to enhance active and engaged learning. The session will demonstrate using iAnnotate for increasing critical reading, Jot! for mind-mapping, Evernote for compiling and organizing resources, and SoundNote for interactive audio and note capture. The session will include hands-on demonstrations of the software, student feedback on the usefulness and educational applications of the apps, and real-world samples of student and faculty work on these apps. Active and engaged use of the iPad as a tool for learning will be discussed, along with participants' favorite apps.
