Using WordPress MU to Facilitate Technology Integration (Pilot Program/Emerging Technology)

This presentation we will demonstrate the use of WordPress MU to facilitate technology integration within a college of education. WordPress was used at the institutional level to archive FAQs, provide access to tutorials, and provide a platform supporting conversations about technology integration. We will also demonstrate how focusing on problems of practice and encouraging dialogue among faculty and administrators by designating a faculty member as a bridge-builder/interpreter to mediate this dialogue facilitated the use of WordPress in a methods course. Audience members will participate in roundtable discussions simulating the process of using multiple perspectives and bridge-builders to support technology integration.
