Learning Analytics Applied: The LSU Early Academic Referral System

The LSU Early Academic Referral System tracks and reports students' performance throughout their academic careers in an effort to increase retention. This system allows a clear view of academic records throughout students' academic careers. Participants will gain LSU's perspective on retention and a sneak peek of a soon-to-be-released solution.

Learning Objectives:
*Come away with LSU's perspective on retention and get a sneak peek of a soon-to-be-released solution
*Identify and assess their retention needs through Q&A and determine if LSU's offering will meet their needs
*Begin an implementation plan for the early academic referral system to increase retention efforts at their institution
*Learn about the methods used in LSU's solution and apply these to their own LMS, if not using Moodle
