Adobe Voice: A Free-and-Easy Tool for Creating Screencasts that Sustain Student Attention

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to easily create pedagogically effective screencasts using an iPad app called Adobe Voice. The facilitator will show a screencast made with Voice and highlight two features that augment student attention, followed by a demonstration of how to use Voice. Participants will install Voice and create their own brief screencast. After viewing two screencasts made during the workshop, participants will brainstorm learning activities that leverage Voice An iPad is required to participate.


OUTCOMES: Learn how to use Adobe Voice to create effective screencasts * Identify features of Voice that augment student attention and enhance online courses * Learn how to flip blended courses using Voice and identify learning activities that leverage Voice
