Scaling HyFlex for the Post-COVID Campus

Thursday, May 20 | 2:15PM–2:35PM ET
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Simulive Session

Many institutions have leveraged HyFlex as a means to reach all students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now the question remains: Is HyFlex something that the institution will adopt after the pandemic? This session will focus on how to implement HyFlex at an institutional level, from defining HyFlex to supporting faculty and students in course design and delivery. Presenters will define HyFlex, identify the key elements to designing a successful HyFlex course, and prioritize steps to implement the HyFlex delivery model at your campus, including how to design a structured pilot and the classroom technology recommendations for HyFlex courses. Student voices also play a key role in the success of HyFlex. Presenters will share student insights on the efficacy of HyFlex courses. Presenters will also encourage discussion and idea sharing of successful HyFlex implementation at other institutions, along with resources to get started.
