Ways to Help Faculty Connect Learning Outcomes to Job Skills

On Demand
Session Type: Industry and Campus Session
Delivery Format: On-Demand

Faculty have the greatest impact on student success and satisfaction. Institutions that will thrive must support faculty through transparent and accessible information; easy and efficient processes for staffing, contracting, credentialing, evaluations, and assessment; and engaging professional development. In this session, we will take a closer look at the ways institutions support faculty, and we will show the importance of mapping connections between coursework and learning. Skills and workforce data integrations are new to the APL nextED platform, and we will discuss the impact this integration has on student learning. We will also discuss the role faculty play as a mentor and coach and examine ways connecting outcomes and skills results in an enhanced learning experience for students and creates a positive relationship between faculty and students. Individuals from institutions of all sizes are welcome and encouraged to attend this session.
