A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Rubric for Course Design in Uncertain Times

Thursday, June 09 | 9:45AM–10:30AM PT | Indigo DH, 2nd Floor
Session Type: Featured Session
Delivery Format: Featured Session

During 2020–21, a subgroup of educational designers from the UC Instructional Design and Faculty Support (IDFS) Community of Practice collaborated to produce a rubric that addresses diversity, equity, and inclusion in (online) course design. The rubric is intended to support a reflective, collaborative, and iterative course design process.  In this session, we will outline our cross-campus collaboration process and explore the eight dimensions that make up the DEI Rubric.
