The 2022 EDUCAUSE Study of Students and Technology: Insights for the Present and the Future

Friday, June 10 | 9:30AM–10:15AM PT | Indigo 204A, 2nd Floor
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Presentation

Join the EDUCAUSE Research and Insights team as we share the results of our most recent national study of students and technology. In this session, you will learn about equitable student access to reliable technology (beyond device ownership and internet access), students’ vision of “the new normal” for post-pandemic teaching and learning, and students’ understanding of data privacy and security. This information will help higher education leaders create more equitable educational technology practices; design forward-thinking, student-centered approaches to teaching with technology; and shape security and privacy policies as they relate to the collection, use, and storage of data about students. We further invite you to contribute to a discussion of timely research topics related to students and educational technology. Through small-group discussion, session attendees will generate topics to inform future research.
