Extended Realities in Higher Education: Findings from HP's Campus of the Future Applied Research Program

Since 2016, HP has supported applied research in extended reality (XR) at a variety of institutions in the United States and abroad. Faculty, academic computing professionals, medical professionals, and students have been testing, tinkering with, and deploying a range of XR technologies to support teaching, learning, and research at a variety of institution types. This webinar will provide a taxonomy of available XR technologies, detail what institutions have learned about the diffusion of these innovations, and review specific examples of successes and challenges in XR adoption.
