ELI Webinar | Research Design and Methodology Training Needs of Instructional Designers

In this webinar, researchers from the Oregon State University Ecampus Research Unit will offer an overview of the results from their national study on the research preparation and engagement of instructional designers. The presentation will include an overview of the study, the demographics of respondents, and data and results from the study. The presenters will explore how instructional designers have pursued training in research methods and design in the past; whether they plan to pursue additional training in the future; whether they plan to pursue additional degrees to further their research design and methods training; and to what degree they are currently engaging in research design and methods training. They will also present takeaways from the study.
