Overview

Higher education drives innovation and research, and IT teams are responsible for keeping this information secure, ensuring proper access to resources. In this Learning Lab, participants will gain a solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and accounting—key pillars of any modern cybersecurity program. We'll cover best practices for securing identities, common IAM challenges in higher education, and offer guidance on governance models and policy development. Finally, we'll explore future trends to help participants shape strategic IAM roadmaps for their institutions.

Learning Outcomes:

NOTE: You will be asked to complete assignments in between the live sessions that support the learning outcomes stated below. You will receive feedback and constructive critique from facilitators.
