Colleges and universities are trying to better analyze, improve, and compete on student experience. But it’s often poorly defined, inadequately measured, and approached in ad hoc silos. To drive student enrollment, engagement, and completion, institutions need a holistic approach that’s practical and evidence-based.

How can higher education leaders define student experience, determine their goals, analyze their student experience, and take action to sustain and continuously improve it? How can they change their spaces, student services, technology, organizational structure, and processes to do so?

This interactive course will answer these questions through readings, presentations, discussions, and hands-on work during and between sessions. It will use an open-access worksheet called the Student Experience Canvas in use at hundreds of institutions and in a studio format within a shared digital workspace so that participants can see and learn from others’ work and make peer connections along the way.
